Washington MonumentPosted by Rich Williams on Dec 5, 2012 in DC, Dusk, Fisheye, National Mall, Washington | 3 comments
I recently returned from a weekend getaway in the Washington, DC area to attend a holiday party. During my stay, I also made it a priority to do some shooting in the area and hopefully return to Boston with a few decent photos.
Above is the Washington Monument by the newly renovated reflecting pool at the Lincoln Memorial. With the assistance of a LEE Grad ND filter, I took this shot right before sunset on an overcast Sunday evening. Below is a horizontal composition with my trusty fisheye lens.
Soon after that shot, I headed over to the Arlington Memorial Bridge, which spans across the Potomac River.
That is all for now, friends. Hope everyone is having a good week so far.
